1965 – Jim Gilmour begins working in the meat department at Dominion grocery Store in Belleville, Ontario.

1997 – Jim opens Gilmour’s meat shop and Deli which becomes widely successful in the area.
2010 – Jim sells his meat shop and retires…. so he thinks
2013 – Nick Gilmour, Jim’s son, who had
Worked with his father since he was a child, decides to enter the family business with Gilmour’s on 38. Located north of KINGSTON.
2015 – Gilmours quickly grows to become one of the highest volume meat shops in the region.
2017 – Gilmour’s work force grows to handle the increasing demand of meat and product being processed and produced. Quality and service remain #1 priority
2019 – Jordan Gilmour P.Eng and Nick’s older brother joins the team to introduce a wealth of management experience, and customer service excellence. This allows the business to scale to the next level, without losing the family feel and commitment to our customers.
2019 – Gilmour’s expands back to their native Belleville with Gilmour’s by the Bay. Jack Maracle, long time friend, employee of Jim, and bachelor or science graduate joins as partner in this venture.
2020 – GilmoursOnline.ca is launched to overwhelming success and broadens Gilmour’s Quality, and service to a wider audience.
